India's daughter Rachel Gupta has created history by winning the title of Miss Grand International 2023 held in Bangkok, Thailand. She is the first Indian to win this competition. Rachel won this title by defeating Christine Julian Opiazza of the Philippines. Models from 70 countries participated in this competition. People are congratulating her.

Rachel Gupta, a resident of Jalandhar, has created history by winning the title of Miss Grand International in Bangkok, Thailand and making the whole of India proud. Rachel is the first Indian to win this title. Rachel was crowned by Luciana Fuster, the winner of the year 2023. Till now no Indian has been able to win this competition which started in Thailand in 2013. Models from 70 countries participated in the Miss Grand International competition.

Rachel defeated Christine Julian Opiazza of Philippines, who was the first runner-up. Thai Su Nyan of Myanmar came third, Safito Kabengele of France came fourth and Talita Hartmann of Brazil came fifth. Before this, Rachel had also won the title of Miss Super Talent of the World in Paris two years ago. 20-year-old Rachel Gupta is making her career in modeling and acting. After winning the title, Rachel said that she is very happy to win this award. Finally we did it, this is a historic victory. She also said, the most serious issue facing the world is overpopulation and lack of resources. I come from a country like India, where not everyone has food, water, education and basic facilities.
