50-50 percent scholarship for male and female students, application till 31 October
The last date to apply for the Central Sector Scholarship of the Central Education Department was 31 August. Online applications can be made till 31 October. This scholarship is given to college and university students through the Board of Secondary Education. Students with more than 80 percentile marks in the 12th class of the board can apply online for new scholarship and selected students from the year 2020 to 2023 can apply online for renewal scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal.
According
to the scholarship scheme, a quota of providing scholarship to 4299 students every year has been
fixed for Madhya Pradesh. In this, 50-50 percent has been fixed for male and female students. Quota of all
categories is allotted among these candidates. 15 percent scholarships are allotted
to Scheduled Caste students, 7.5 percent to Scheduled Tribes, 27 percent to Other Backward Classes and 5 percent scholarships are allotted
to students of disabled category. Students securing more than 80 percent marks in MP Board 12th in session 2023-24 will be eligible to apply for
this scholarship. Also, they should be regularly studying in UG course in any
government or private recognized university-college in session 2024-25. Applications will be valid online
only.
