10 मार्च 2024 को भारत और चार यूरोपीय देशों के समूह यूरोपियन फ्री ट्रेड एसोसिएशन (ईएफटीए) ने निवेश और वस्तुओं एवं सेवाओं के दोतरफा व्यापार को बढ़ावा देने के लिए मुक्त व्यापार समझौते- ट्रेड एंड इकोनॉमिक पार्टनरशिप एग्रीमेंट (टीईपीए) पर हस्ताक्षर किए। समझौते के तहत यूरोपियन फ्री ट्रेड एसोसिएशन (ईएफटीए) ने अगले 15 साल में भारत में 100 अरब डॉलर के निवेश की प्रतिबद्धता जताई है। यह भारत का ऐसे समूह के साथ पहला आधुनिक व्यापार करार है, जिसमें विकसित देश शामिल हैं। यूरोपीय मुक्त व्यापार संघ (ईएफटीए) के सदस्य देशों में आइसलैंड, स्विट्जरलैंड, नॉर्वे और लिकटेंस्टाइन शामिल हैं।

On March 10, 2024, India and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), a grouping of four European countries, signed a free trade agreement – Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) to promote investment and two-way trade in goods and services. Under the agreement, the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) has committed to invest $ 100 billion in India in the next 15 years. This is India's first modern trade agreement with a grouping that includes developed countries. Member states of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) include Iceland, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein.
