Professor Azhar Hashmi, a well-known literary personality, poet, satirist, thinker, and retired professor from the Government Arts and Science College, passed away on June 10 at the age of 75. He had been suffering from health issues for the past year.
His passing has sent a wave of grief across the literary community of Ratlam and the entire state of Madhya Pradesh. His mortal remains were kept for public viewing on June 10, after which his final rites were performed in Pidwa village, Jhalawar district of Rajasthan.
