Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that a new history of cultural emergence is being written under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Vikramotsav-2025 and All India Kalidas Festival to be held in Madhya Pradesh will be organized in a grand manner. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that during the event in Ujjain, guests and students should be introduced to the history, science, culture and values of Ujjain along with Mahakal Devdarshan. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed Vikramotsav-2025, All India Kalidas Festival and the museum being built by Veer Bharat Trust in the Ministry. Addressing the meeting of the Central Committee of Kalidas Sanskrit Academy, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Kalidas Festival starts from the Gadhkalika temple. An inscription should be installed on Kalidas's relation with the Gadhkalika temple and its importance. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took information about the awards to be given during the Kalidas Samman Ceremony and directed to increase the amount of the awards. Kalidas Samaroh will be organized from 12 to 18 November.
Review meeting of preparations for Vikramotsav 2025
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Gudi Padwa festival will be celebrated as Vikram Parv "Srishti Aarambh Divas" in the entire state along with Ujjain on March 30. The Culture Department also organizes events and festivals in the state and outside the state, which have great reputation. Vikramotsav of Ujjain has created a distinct identity for itself. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the second phase of Vikramotsav, from March 30 to June 30, 2025, under the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan, the work of conservation and promotion of rivers and water structures of the state will be done at the state level. This great event will conclude with a special cultural event on Ganga Dussehra as per last year.
Meeting of Veer Bharat Nyas
Chief Minister Dr. said in the meeting of Veer Bharat Nyas that efforts should be made to make the newly constructed museum in Ujjain an experiential and activity based museum instead of a literature and traditional museum. Create content in an entertaining way using new technology. Youth will connect with the museum in this way and it will become a center of tourism in the country. Form a committee to give suggestions on content creation in the museum. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the name change of the museum should also be considered based on the subject of the galleries in the museum. Make other necessary arrangements including accommodation for the researchers coming to study the museum. A plan should be made in collaboration with experts and organizations for the proposed road construction for the museum.
