Their wealth has jumped drastically this year. According to a latest Forbes report, the total wealth of India's 100 richest people has crossed the trillion dollar mark for the first time this year. According to the report, the benchmark BSE Sensex has jumped 30% compared to a year ago. According to Forbes, the total wealth of India's richest people is now $ 1.1 trillion. This is double their wealth in 2019. In the last 12 months, their wealth has increased by $316 billion, which is an increase of about 40%. During this period, the wealth of more than 80% of the richest Indians increased, out of which 58 have registered an increase of $1 billion or more in their wealth. Apart from this, the total wealth of half a dozen people increased by more than $10 billion, including the top-5. In total, they earned about $120 billion. According to the report, the top-12 billionaires have almost half of the total wealth.
