Foreign Minister remarked, "Today, it is possible for us to understand and realize the full potential of India-U.S. relations. Bengaluru must also understand its role in this relationship. This is the 12th foreign consulate in the city. As a country, we are supporting the opening of new consulates so that our ties with the world can grow even deeper. We are also encouraging other countries to open consulates in Bengaluru. I hope that more such opportunities will arise where more countries will open commercial consulates in Bengaluru. This will benefit the interests of India, Karnataka, and Bengaluru in a better way." U.S. Ambassador Eric Garcetti expressed, "Today is a very special day. It is a great day for Karnataka.
