India's Vivan Kapoor won the silver medal in men's skeet at the ISSF World Cup Final 2024 held in New Delhi on October 17, while Anantjit Singh Naruka won the bronze medal in the trap event. With two medals on the last day of the last ISSF World Cup of the season, Indian shooters won a total of four medals including two silver and as many bronze in this competition. Earlier, Sonam Maskar won silver in the women's 10m air rifle, while Akhil Sheoran won the bronze medal in the men's 50m rifle 3 position shooting event. 22-year-old Vivan Kapoor won his first individual medal in the senior shooting competition by scoring 44 points in the men's trap final and finished behind Ying Qiu (47) of the People's Republic of China. Turkey's shotgun shooter En Tolga Tuncer won the bronze medal of this event by scoring 35 points. Vivan had earlier made it to the six-shooter final by finishing third in the men's trap qualifying round. Bhavanish Mendiratta missed the cut after finishing eighth. Shreyasi Singh and Rajeshwari Kumari finished eighth and 11th respectively in the qualifiers, while no Indian shooter could make it to the women's trap final. Vivan Kapoor won the silver medal in the men's trap event while Anant Jeet Singh Naruka won the bronze medal in the men's skeet event, taking India's total to four medals at the ISSF World Cup Final on October 17.
