22 October- Applications started for various posts including SI, Subedar in
Chhattisgarh
Recruitment has been announced for Subedar, SI, Platoon Commander
posts in Chhattisgarh. According to the notification, recruitment will be done
for 19 posts of Subedar, 278 posts of Sub Inspector, 11 posts of Sub Inspector
(Special Branch), 14 posts of Platoon Commander, 4 posts of Sub Inspector
(Fingerprint), 1 post of Sub Inspector (Document in Question), 5 posts of Sub
Inspector (Computer) and 9 posts of Sub Inspector (Cyber Crime). Candidates
will be able to apply on 21 November 2024 to join this recruitment.
Notification has been issued for recruitment to various posts in
Chhattisgarh Police. Various posts like Subedar, Sub Inspector and Platoon
Commander will be filled through this recruitment drive. Chhattisgarh Public
Service Commission (CGPSC) has started the application process from today for
recruitment to various posts in Chhattisgarh Police. Interested and eligible
candidates can apply for these posts through the official website
(psc.cg.gov.in). The last date to apply for these posts is November 21,
2024.
Number of Vacancies
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 341 posts,
including 278 posts for Sub Inspector (SI), 19 for Subedar, 11 for Sub
Inspector Special Branch, 14 for Platoon Commander, 4 for Sub Inspector Finger
Print, 1 for Sub Inspector Questionable Document, 5 for Sub Inspector Computer
and 9 for Sub Inspector Cyber Crime.
Educational Qualification
For Inspector Finger Print and Sub Inspector Questionable Document
in Chhattisgarh Police, candidates must have graduation with Maths, Physics,
Chemistry. Whereas for recruitment to the posts of Subedar, Sub Inspector, Sub
Inspector Special Branch and Platoon Commander, candidates should be graduates
in any subject from a recognized subject.
For Sub Inspector Computer and Sub Inspector Cyber Crime, it is
necessary to have done BCA or BSc Computer or its equivalent course.
Age Limit
To participate in this recruitment, the age of the applicants
should be between 21 years to 28 years. While reserved category candidates will
be given relaxation in the upper age limit.
Before applying, the candidates should know how much height is
required for this recruitment. The height of male candidates participating for
various posts in Chhattisgarh Police should be 168 cm. While the minimum height
for female candidates should be 153. Talking about chest, the chest of male
candidates should be 81 cm and 86 cm when inflated. After all this, in
Chhattisgarh Police Physical, the candidates will be made to do 100 meter and
1500 meter race, long jump, high jump, shot put etc.
Selection Process
Candidates for all these posts will be selected on the basis of
Physical Standard Test, Preliminary Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Main
Examination and Interview.
