A grand ceremony is organized in New Delhi on the occasion of Teachers' Day on 5 September. During this, excellent teachers of the country are also honored. It has been announced to give National Teacher Award to 3 teachers of Madhya Pradesh in the National Teacher Award ceremony to be held in Delhi on the upcoming 5th September i.e. Teachers' Day. 3 teachers of the state have received the National Teacher Award for the year 2024. This announcement has been made by the Union Ministry of Education, New Delhi. The teachers of Madhya Pradesh who have been selected for the National Award are Madhav Prasad Patel, teacher, Government Middle School, Lidhora, District Damoh and Sunita Godha, Government High School, Khajuria Sarang, District Mandsaur. Apart from this, Sunita Gupta, teacher of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Dhamangaon of Dindori district has also received the national level teacher award. At the same time, two teachers of ITI Govindpura, Prashant Dixit and Premlata Rahangdale have been selected for the National Teacher Award. These teachers will be honored on the occasion of Teachers' Day on 5 September 2024 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. As a mark of respect, a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and a medal will be awarded.
