The election results were not as expected for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which carried the slogan of crossing 400 in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. BJP, which won 303 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, this time got reduced to 240. The party has suffered heavy losses in many states.
BJP has suffered most of the losses in those states which were once the reason for its massive majority. In such a situation, the party is brainstorming on where it went wrong. At present, we are telling you about three such states where BJP has suffered the biggest defeat or say the biggest loss.
BJP has suffered the most loss in Uttar Pradesh. Here the party has won 33 seats, whereas in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections it had won 64 seats. This time the Samajwadi Party has got the maximum 37 seats in UP.
The second biggest loss to BJP has been in Rajasthan. BJP, which won all 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan in 2014, maintained its dominance by winning 24 seats in 2019, but this time it is over. BJP has won 14 seats here and has suffered a loss of 10 seats. Congress has got 8 seats.
The third blow to BJP has been in West Bengal. It was being claimed in all the exit polls that the Bharatiya Janata Party will get the maximum seats here, but contrary to that, BJP's seats here have decreased. This time BJP has got 12 seats from West Bengal, whereas in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP had won 19 seats here. Trinamool Congress has won 29 seats here.
