50% Subsidy for Agriculture-Based Industries in Madhya Pradesh: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that farmers in Madhya Pradesh will receive a 50% subsidy for setting up agriculture-based industries. He said the government is actively promoting such industries to boost rural employment. Agricultural Industry Conventions are also being organized. Each worker in these industries will be provided a monthly wage of ₹5,000.
Dr. Yadav made these remarks on June 9 during a public event in Gadarwara, Narsinghpur district, where he laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects worth over ₹80 crore. He also announced the construction of a cow shelter and improved transportation services in the region.
National Progress Under PM Modi’s Leadership
The CM praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for India’s growing global stature and development over the past 11 years. He cited key milestones such as the abrogation of Article 370, the passage of the triple talaq law, and the grand consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya as transformational decisions that have strengthened the nation.
Education for the Next Generation
The Chief Minister ceremonially welcomed new students with tilak and book distributions. He emphasized the importance of educating the youth about democracy, Indian culture, and values to help them achieve a bright future.
Women Empowerment
Dr. Yadav reaffirmed the government’s commitment to women's welfare. He announced that the “Ladli Behna Yojana” amount will be increased to ₹3,000 within five years. Monthly financial support is now seen as a festive occasion for women across the state. He also declared 33% reservation for women in future elections after delimitation.
Infrastructure and Energy Reforms
The CM virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation for 135 construction projects worth ₹80.46 crore, including ₹56.58 crore for completed works and ₹23.88 crore for new developments. He announced plans to extend solar power connections to farmers to resolve electricity issues.
Sugam Bus Yojana and Road Development
The “Mukhyamantri Sugam Bus Yojana” will soon launch across Madhya Pradesh to enhance public transport. The State Transport Corporation will resume bus operations statewide. Key infrastructure projects announced include a 132 kV power substation in Saikheda, a 20-km ChiChli–Salichouka road costing ₹60 crore, and a 17.5-km Arjungav–Gadarwara road for ₹27 crore.
Support for Local Artisans and Cultural Initiatives
Encouraging the use of brass and bronze products, the CM said this will support artisans in ChiChli and surrounding areas. He also promised grand celebrations for Guru Purnima and Krishna Janmashtami, along with traditional Dussehra rituals including weapon worship.
Water Conservation and Education Recognition
The CM highlighted rapid progress in water conservation under the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan and river-linking projects. He honored meritorious students from Class 10 & 12 and teachers for outstanding academic contributions.
Minister’s Remarks
Education and Transport Minister Uday Pratap Singh expressed gratitude, noting that Dr. Yadav has gifted ₹350 crore in development to Gadarwara within 18 months. He thanked the CM for allocating ₹2 crore for beautifying the Gadarwara Lake.
