The country's cleanest city Indore is now moving ahead in green energy and the city is getting recognition as well as respect across the country for this effort. On the occasion of World Environment Day, an award ceremony was organized at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on 9 October. In this ceremony, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, awarded the HUDCO Award 2024 for the best innovations in Indore city across the country, solar based charging station, best practices for improving the residential environment to make BRTS a green mobility corridor. This award was given by Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Tokhan Sahu. On behalf of AICTSL, this award was received by AICTSL Managing Director and Indore Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shivam Verma, AICTSL Chief Executive Officer Divyank Singh and BRTS in-charge Abhinav Chauhan.
