In 2024, Madhya Pradesh achieved several unique feats, raising its flag in various national sectors. The state has won several awards in different fields and has played a leading role in implementing central government welfare schemes.
Indore was awarded the best district award in the 5th National Water Award.
After becoming the Tiger and Cheetah state, Madhya Pradesh has now become the ‘Leopard State’.
Madhya Pradesh Tourism received the ‘Global Tourism’ award in the Best Sustainable State Tourism category.
Pranpur (Chanderi), Sakhwasi and Ladupura Khas were awarded as the best tourism villages.
Madhya Pradesh secured second place in the Best Performing State Award for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
The state topped the national level for the highest number of mineral block auctions in the country.
Madhya Pradesh was awarded as a leader under the National Startup Awards.
Burhanpur was awarded national recognition for banana processing under the One District One Product scheme.
The state also won the first prize for excellent work in horticulture food processing.
