एयर फोर्स कॉमन एडमिशन टेस्ट (Air Force Common Admission Test- AFCAT) 2024 की तैयारियों में लगे स्टूडेंट्स के लिए खुशखबरी है। इंडियन एयर फोर्स की ओर से एफकैट 2 2024 (AFCAT 02/2024) के लिए नोटिफिकेशन जारी कर आवेदन तिथियों को घोषित कर दिया है। अधिसूचना के मुताबिक एफकैट 2 2024 के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन प्रक्रिया 30 मई 2024 से शुरू की जाएगी जो निर्धारित अंतिम तिथि 28 जून 2024 तक जारी रहेगी।
इस परीक्षा के माध्यम से इंडियन एयरफोर्स की दोनों ब्रांच ग्राउंड और फ्लाइंग के लिए अप्लाई किया जा सकता है। चयन कई लेवल की परीक्षा के बाद होगा जैसे लिखित परीक्षा, इंटरव्यू और मेडिकल एग्जामिनेशन ।सभी चरण पास करने वाले कैंडिडेट्स का सेलेक्शन ही अंतिम माना जाएगा. इस भर्ती प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से टेक्निकल और नॉन-टेक्निकल दोनों ब्रांच में कुल 304 पदों पर कैंडिडेट्स की भर्ती होगी।

पात्रता एवं मापदंड
दोनों ब्रांच ग्राउंड और फ्लाइंग के लिए आवेदन करने की पात्रता अलग-अलग है। फ्लाइंग ब्रांच और ग्राउंड ड्यूटी (नॉन-टेक्निकल) पोजीशन के लिए जरूरी है कि कैंडिडेट ने कम से कम 50 परसेंट मार्क्स के साथ फिजिक्स और मैथ्स विषयों से 10 + 2 परीक्षा पास की हो. इसके साथ ही उसके पास किसी मान्यता प्राप्त यूनिवर्सिटी से कम के कम 60 परसेंट मार्क्स के साथ बीई या बीटेक की डिग्री होनी चाहिए।
ग्राउंड ड्यूटी टेक्निकल के लिए जरूरी है कि कैंडिडेट ने कम से कम 60 परसेंट मार्क्स के साथ फिजिक्स और मैथ्स विषयों से 10 + 2 परीक्षा पास की हो. साथ में उसके पास मान्यता प्राप्त यूनिवर्सिटी से इंजीनियरिंग और टेक्नोलॉजी में ग्रेजुएशन या पोस्ट ग्रेजुएशन की डिग्री हो।
फ्लाइंग ब्रांच के लिए एज लिमिट 20 से 24 साल और ग्राउंड ड्यूटी के लिए एज लिमिट 20 से 26 साल होनी चाहिए।
कैसे कर सकेंगे आवेदन
इस भर्ती में शामिल होने के लिए आवेदन शुरू होते ही अभ्यर्थियों को ऑफिशियल वेबसाइट पर जाकर AFCAT 2024 के लिंक पर क्लिक करना होगा। इसके बाद आपको पहले रजिस्ट्रेशन फॉर्म पर क्लिक करके पंजीकरण करना होगा और उसके बाद अन्य डिटेल भरकर आवेदन प्रक्रिया पूर्ण करनी होगी। अंत में उम्मीदवारों को निर्धारित शुल्क जमा करके फॉर्म सबमिट कर देना है।
एप्लीकेशन फीस

ऐसा होगा पेपर पैटर्न
एफकैट लिखित परीक्षा कुल 300 अंकों की होगी जिसमें 100 सवाल आएंगे । परीक्षा की अवधि होगी 2 घंटा. ये एक ऑनलाइन एग्जाम होगा। निगेटिव मार्किंग है तो हर गलत जवाब के लिए एक अंक कट जाएगा। जो ये चरण पास कर लेंगे उन्हें इंटरव्यू के लिए बुलाया जाएगा । इंटरव्यू भी पास कर लेने वाले कैंडिडेट्स को मेडिकल एग्जामिनेशन देना होगा ।तीनों चरण पास करने वाले कैंडिडेट्स का अंतिम चयन होगा।

Indian Air Force has issued a notification for AFCAT 2 2024 (AFCAT 02/2024) and announced the application dates. Eligibility & Criteria
The eligibility to apply for both the branches ground and flying is different. For flying branch and ground duty (non-technical) position, it is necessary that the candidate has passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Maths subjects with at least 50 % marks. Along with this, he should have a BE or BTech degree with at least 60 % marks from a recognized university .
For Ground Duty Technical, it is necessary that the candidate has passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Maths subjects with at least 60 percent marks . Along with this, he should have a graduation or post-graduation degree in Engineering and Technology from a recognized university .
The age limit for flying branch should be 20 to 24 years and for ground duty the age limit should be 20 to 26 years Needed .

The paper pattern will be like this
The FCAT written exam will be of total 300 marks in which there will be 100 questions . The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. This will be an online exam . There is negative marking so one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer . Those who pass this stage will be called for interview . Candidates who clear the interview will have to undergo medical examination . Candidates who clear all three stages will be selected for the final selection .
