Allu Arjun Arrested After Pushpa-2 Event Stampede
During the pre-release event of Allu Arjun's film Pushpa-2, a stampede suddenly broke out. It is alleged that after the arrival of superstar Allu Arjun, people became desperate to see him and started climbing over each other. During this stampede, a woman lost her life. The Hyderabad police have registered a case, and now Allu Arjun has been arrested.
Previously, Section 299 was applied for culpable homicide when a person’s death occurred due to someone else’s actions. This is generally the case in incidents such as deaths during fights or other such situations. The case suggests that the accused did not plan the murder but knew that their actions could result in someone’s death. In such cases, the punishment could range from 10 years in prison to life imprisonment. Section 304 provides punishment for culpable homicide.
However, some amendments have been made to the punishment in this case. Section 100 of the Indian Penal Code defines culpable homicide, while Section 105 provides for punishment, stating that if the act causing death was intentional, the punishment could be life imprisonment or 5 to 10 years in prison. A fine can also be imposed. The main difference between murder and culpable homicide is that murder cases can lead to the death penalty, while there is no provision for the death penalty in culpable homicide cases.
