Anjali Sud Appointed to Harvard University's Board of Overseers
On May 30, Harvard University appointed two distinguished alumni of Indian origin – Anjali Sud and Sanjay Seth – to prominent leadership roles. This move aims to strengthen the university's global representation amid emerging challenges and opportunities.
Anjali Sud, the Indian-American CEO of the streaming platform Tubi, has been elected to Harvard University's Board of Overseers. She will serve a two-year term starting May 30, 2025.
Sud fills the vacancy left by former Canadian Prime Minister and ex-Bank of England Governor Mark Carney, who resigned to lead Canada's Liberal Party.
The appointment highlights Harvard’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, bringing in leaders with a global perspective and industry expertise.
