World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka defeated World No. 4 Coco Gauff in straight sets, 6–3, 7–6(7–3), to win the women's singles title at the 2025 Madrid Open. This victory marks her third Madrid Open title, equaling Petra Kvitová's tournament record.

Sabalenka's Career Milestone

With this win, Sabalenka secured her 20th career WTA title and her ninth WTA 1000 title. She became the second woman to win three singles titles at the Madrid Open since its establishment in 2009.

Gauff's Performance

Coco Gauff, aiming for her first Madrid Open title, fought valiantly but fell short in the final. Despite her efforts, Sabalenka's experience and composure prevailed.

Prize Money
