Axiom-4 Mission Postponed to June 22 | NASA, ISRO, SpaceX

Axiom-4 Mission Postponed Until June 22

The Axiom-4 mission, a collaborative space initiative by NASA, ISRO, Axiom Space, and SpaceX, has once again been postponed. Initially scheduled for launch on June 19, the mission will now be launched on June 22, 2025.

The delay is attributed to ongoing repairs on the aft end of the Zvezda Service Module of the International Space Station (ISS). NASA will proceed with the launch only after a thorough evaluation of the ISS conditions.

The mission includes former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson and ISRO astronaut Shubanshu Shukla, among other crew members. This joint effort aims to demonstrate international cooperation and advanced space capabilities.

The mission had already faced previous delays, notably due to a liquid oxygen leak discovered in the Falcon9 rocket. Following repairs and inspections, the new launch date has been finalized as June 22, 2025.

Axiom-4 marks another milestone in global partnerships in space exploration and will launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
