Bengaluru Ranked Among World's Top 10 Global Tech Talent Hubs

India is set to be among the top 10 global tech markets by 2025, especially in terms of talent availability. According to a Colliers report, six Indian cities are already featured in the top 10 list for tech talent acquisition in the Asia-Pacific region.

The report highlights that the Asia-Pacific region is emerging as a global tech talent hub, with three of the world’s top 10 locations being Bengaluru (India), Tokyo (Japan), and Beijing (China).

Arpit Mehrotra, Managing Director, India Office Services at Colliers, stated: “India is a powerhouse of tech talent and a key player in the global innovation ecosystem, supported by skilled talent and employment opportunities across Tier-1 and emerging cities.”

India’s key tech cities account for 69% of Asia-Pacific’s total tech talent. Bengaluru and Hyderabad, which host the region's largest talent clusters, are leading in tech leasing activity. Together, these cities are expected to fulfill nearly 50% of traditional office space demand in the first half of 2025.

Mehrotra further emphasized, “With high-quality office space, strong IT infrastructure, and cost competitiveness, India’s office market will continue to be a key destination for technology-led global economic expansion.”

The report analyzed over 200 global markets based on talent acquisition, venture capital (VC) funding, labor index, talent pipeline, and regional infrastructure.
