BJP Announces New State Presidents in 4 States
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced new state presidents for Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, and Tripura.
Harsh Malhotra has been appointed as the new president of the BJP Delhi unit, replacing Virendra Sachdeva. He won a major victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from the East Delhi constituency. He has been serving as Minister of State in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways since June 2024. He also served as Mayor of East Delhi Municipal Corporation from 2015 to 2016 and led successful campaigns against malnutrition in government schools during his tenure as a councillor.
In Haryana, Dr. Archana Gupta has been appointed as the new state president of BJP.
In Punjab, Kewal Singh Dhillon has been given the responsibility of state president.
In Tripura, Abhishek Debroy has been appointed as the new BJP state president.
