CBI Launches 'ABHAY' - AI-based Digital Arrest Notice Verification

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has launched an AI-based notice verification system named 'ABHAY' to protect citizens from cyber fraud involving digital arrest and fake notices.

This tool helps people quickly verify whether a notice received in the name of CBI is authentic or sent by fraudsters.

Due to the rising cases of digital arrest scams, CBI has created a dedicated website called 'ABHAY', where fake notices can be checked and verified.

If you receive a call or a "CBI notice" threatening a digital arrest, do not panic. Visit the CBI website at www.cbi.gov.in to verify the authenticity of the notice immediately.

'ABHAY' is an AI-powered helpbot that analyzes the document within minutes and tells whether the notice is genuine or an attempt to defraud money. This is India’s first real-time notice verification system.

CBI has also issued an advisory for the general public, advising citizens to remain vigilant and cautious.
