Census is the Backbone of the Nation and Foundation of Development: Dr. Yadav

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on April 16 described Census 2027 as a crucial step in guiding the nation’s future in the right direction. He urged citizens of the state to participate with complete honesty and dedication.

During a program, the Chief Minister registered on the self-enumeration portal, marking the beginning of the self-enumeration process in the state.

He stated, “The census process has begun in Madhya Pradesh from today. It is not just a process of collecting data, but an important step toward shaping the future of our nation. The census is the backbone of the country and the foundation of development.”

Yadav also emphasized that this time the census is being conducted using digital and modern technologies. He appealed to citizens to participate truthfully and sincerely, adding that the census is essential for securing a bright future for coming generations.

Key Phases of Census 2027 in Madhya Pradesh

• Online self-enumeration will be conducted from April 16 to April 30.
• House listing will take place from May 1 to May 30.
• The entire process will be carried out digitally.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the census will help determine whether development is reaching the last person in society effectively.

He also appreciated the officials and employees involved in the census, stating that they are performing a sacred duty in nation-building, and that their accuracy and dedication will strengthen the country's future.
