Chief Minister Inaugurates Pashupatinath Lok
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav officially inaugurated Pashupatinath Lok in Mandasaur. The first phase of the Lok was constructed at an estimated cost of approximately ₹25 crore.
During the inauguration, the Chief Minister first visited Pashupatinath Temple and performed rituals and worship. He then observed a picture exhibition at the temple premises, showcasing the temple’s past and present conditions. He also offered prayers to the silver idol of Lord Pashupatinath placed in a palanquin.
The Chief Minister then toured Pashupatinath Lok in an e-cart, admiring its grandeur. During the event, he unveiled the 22-feet tall Trinetra Rudrakani, with a central Rudraksha representing the divine three-eyed form of Lord Shiva.
At the MP Theater complex, he performed a Yagna with mantras and offered poornaahuti. Pashupatinath Lok has become a major center of faith in Mandasaur, now enhanced with new facilities. Situated near the flowing waters of the Shivna River, the Lok has become more attractive and mesmerizing.
Four entry gates have been constructed to ensure smooth movement of devotees, increasing footfall. An open-air theater has been built to host cultural and theatrical events. Waiting areas and a primary healthcare facility have also been set up for convenience and emergencies.
The temple complex now features murals depicting Shiva Leelas, paintings on the history of Pashupatinath Mahadev, a satsang hall, gardens, Shiva pillars, selfie points, and well-organized pathways, developing the entire area into a vibrant pilgrimage center.
The inauguration was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, MPs Sudhir Gupta and Banshilal Gurjar, district officials, MLAs, municipal leaders, and numerous other public representatives. Administrative officers including Additional Commissioner & Tourism Secretary Dilip Kumar Yadav, Collector Aditi Garg, and Police Superintendent Vinod Kumar Meena were also present.
