Chinese Satellite Allegedly Used to Target US Military Installations
According to a sensational report, Iran allegedly used an advanced Chinese-made reconnaissance satellite TEE-01B in late 2024 to monitor and target US military installations in the Middle East.
The satellite, manufactured by the Chinese company Earth Eye, was reportedly used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for surveillance operations.
Surveillance Operations
The IRGC is said to have used the satellite to track US military bases before and after drone and missile strikes in March, monitoring locations in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Iraq.
Key Targeted Locations

- US Fifth Fleet Naval Base, Bahrain
- Erbil Air Base, Iraq
China’s Alleged Role
Reports suggest the satellite was secretly acquired from China in late 2024 and placed under direct control of the IRGC.
