Cricket Returns to the Olympics After 128 Years

Historic IOC Decision
On April 9, 2025, during the Executive Board meeting of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the sporting lineup and athlete quotas for the LA 2028 Olympics were finalized. Cricket was approved as one of the five new sports to be officially included in the Games.
