CUET UG Counselling to Begin in July After Exam Ends Next Week
The CUET UG 2026 examination is set to conclude next week, with counselling expected to begin in July. Devi Ahilya University has decided to conduct separate counselling processes for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions.
At present, CUET UG is being conducted for admission into various undergraduate and integrated courses. The result is expected to take about one month after the completion of exams. After that, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will provide student data to universities.
Based on this data, universities will prepare their own merit lists and rankings for admission. CUET UG exams will continue until May 31 and will cover admission to 28 courses.
CUET PG counselling is planned to begin in June, while UG and integrated course counselling will start from July. Registration for counselling will begin once the NTA shares the student database.
According to CUET Chairman Rajesh Sharma, counselling registration will start immediately after receiving results and data from NTA, ensuring students can quickly secure admission in their preferred courses.
The university offers admissions through CUET in courses such as BA (Hons) Economics, BA Geography, BA Sociology, BA LLB, BCom, BCom (Hons), BBA Aviation, BCA, and BPharma. Integrated and PG programs like MBA E-Commerce, MBA Tourism, MBA Foreign Trade, MSc Electronic Media, and five-year MTech programs are also included.
A large number of applications are expected this year in departments such as IIPS, IMS, Law, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Journalism, and EMRC.
