Former Union Minister Shriprakash Jaiswal Passes Away

Former Union Minister Shriprakash Jaiswal has passed away at the age of 81. His death was confirmed by the Cardiology Department. He had been ill for the past year and died today due to a heart attack.

Shriprakash Jaiswal served as a Member of Parliament from Kanpur representing the Congress Party from 1999 to 2014. He was elected three times to the Lok Sabha from Kanpur. During his tenure, he held important positions including Union Minister of Coal and Minister of State for Home Affairs. He also served as the Mayor of Kanpur.
