Foundation Laid for Wildlife Global University at Vantara
In a major initiative in the field of wildlife conservation and veterinary education in India, Vantara has announced the establishment of the world’s first Global Wildlife University. This university will be set up in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and will be known as "Vantara University".
The project has been initiated under the leadership of Anant Ambani, Executive Director of Reliance Industries.
Aiming to Become a Global Hub for Wildlife Education
Vantara University is envisioned as a modern "Gurukul"-inspired institution. Its goal is to establish India as a global center for wildlife conservation and veterinary education.
The university will focus on preparing future experts in wildlife conservation, veterinary science, and animal care. Its curriculum will combine India’s traditional knowledge systems with modern scientific approaches.
