France Removes Airport Transit Visa Requirement for Indian Citizens
France has abolished the requirement of an Airport Transit Visa (ATV) for Indian citizens starting from April 10, 2026.
This new policy applies to Indian travelers who are transiting through the international zone of French airports while traveling to a third country.
The decision was taken following French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to India in February 2026, with the aim of easing travel and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
