Free Aadhaar Document Update Service Extended Until June 14, 2026

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended the deadline to update Aadhaar documents for free by one year. Users can now update their Aadhaar details such as name and address online for free until June 14, 2026.

Previously, the deadline was set to June 14, 2025. On June 14, UIDAI posted on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the free online document update service has been extended to benefit millions of Aadhaar number holders.

This free service is only available on the official myAadhaar portal. After the new deadline, users will have to pay a fee for any updates to their Aadhaar.
