• India’s first semiconductor unit has been established in Info Valley, Odisha. Odisha is now set to become the first state where chip manufacturing and packaging both will take place in one location, boosting AI, 5G, and defense sectors.
• Dr. C.H. Srinivas Rao, Vice Chancellor of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, has been awarded the Prof. M.S. Swaminathan Award for his contribution to climate-resilient agriculture and natural resource management.
• Former Union Minister Dinesh Trivedi has been appointed as India’s new High Commissioner to Bangladesh. He has previously served as MP from Barrackpore, Railway Minister, and Health Minister of State.
