Gyanendra Pratap Singh Appointed as the New Director General of CRPF

Gyanendra Pratap Singh, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Assam, has been appointed as the new Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The Cabinet Appointment Committee of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has approved his appointment as the DG of CRPF.

The appointment of the new Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been finalized. According to the official order, his tenure will continue until November 30, 2027, or until further notice. He is a 1991 batch officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS) from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
