Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign for Independence Day 2025

After the letter from the central government, the GAD (General Administration Department) has directed various departments to implement the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' initiative. This comes after Operation Sindoor, marking the first Independence Day celebrations post its launch. The campaign will run from 2nd August to 15th August and focuses on distributing and displaying the Indian Tricolor.

Key Campaign Details:

• 11 major departments in Madhya Pradesh have received guidelines for the campaign.
• This year, flags will be sold at ration shops and police lines for the first time.
• Self-help groups in villages will be involved in flag sales and distribution. These groups will also receive training in flag-making.
• The campaign will ensure that every possible space, from government buildings to public places, displays the Tricolor.
• Departments like Urban Development, Home Affairs, IT, Panchayat & Rural Development, Planning, Culture, Transport, Sports, Health, Higher Education, and Cottage & Village Industries have been instructed to mobilize people.

Campaign Theme: 'Celebration of Independence with Cleanliness'

All activities will align with the central theme. A dedicated website will be created to upload photos and selfies of the various programs, rallies, and campaigns.

Instructions for Events:

• Public and government buildings, schools, hotels, offices, flyovers, dams, and bridges will be decorated.
• Schools will paint walls and boards with the Tricolor.
• Workshops will train people to make Tricolor Rakhi (for Raksha Bandhan).
• Public spaces and markets will be decorated with the three colors of the flag.
• A 'Freedom Labor Donation' cleanliness drive will be organized.
• Hospitals and health centers will also fly the Tricolor and decorate their buildings.

Special Instructions for Police and Transport Departments:

• Police stations will have posters, stands, and banners, and officers will be required to display the Tricolor at their homes.
• Police colonies will have special centers for flag sales and distribution.
• Choke points and toll plazas will be decorated with Tricolor flags and posters.
• All vehicles will be required to display the Tricolor. Inter-state buses will play recorded messages, songs, jingles, and videos related to the Tricolor.

Public places will have wall paintings, and all media channels will be used to promote the campaign.
