IBPS PO SO Recruitment 2025: Apply Online by July 28
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended the last date to apply for Probationary Officer (PO) and Specialist Officer (SO) recruitment 2025. Interested candidates can now apply online until 28 July 2025. A total of 6,215 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment drive.

Eligibility Criteria
All candidates with a graduate degree from a recognized university can apply. The age limit is between 20 and 30 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per government norms for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and other reserved categories.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in three stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Prelims)
- Main Examination (Mains)
- Interview
Changes in IBPS PO 2025 Preliminary Exam Pattern
- Quantitative Aptitude marks reduced from 35 to 30.
- Reasoning Ability marks increased from 30 to 40.
- Total duration and number of questions remain unchanged.
Changes in Main Examination Pattern
- Reasoning and Computer Aptitude questions reduced from 45 to 40, time reduced from 60 to 50 minutes.
- General/Economy/Banking Awareness: 35 questions for 50 marks, time reduced from 35 to 25 minutes.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation marks reduced from 60 to 50.
- Total objective questions reduced from 155 to 145; total duration reduced from 180 to 160 minutes.
