India Sets Record with Marine Exports Worth ₹72,325 Crore in FY 2025-26

India has achieved a historic milestone in the financial year 2025–26 by exporting marine products worth over ₹72,325.82 crore ($8.28 billion).

This marks the highest-ever marine export value for the country, with a total export volume of 1.932 million metric tonnes.

Frozen Shrimp Leads Growth

The remarkable growth in exports has been primarily driven by the strong performance of frozen shrimp, which continues to be the leading contributor in India’s marine export sector.

The increase highlights India's growing presence in the global seafood market and the rising demand for high-quality marine products.
