Indian Army JAG Entry Scheme
2025: The Indian Army has released the official notification for the 35th Judge
Advocate General (JAG) Entry Scheme. Under this scheme, unmarried male and
female law graduates are given an opportunity to work as Short Service
Commission (SSC) officers in the JAG branch of the Indian Army. Interested
candidates can visit the official website of the Indian Army,

Entry scheme will start in
October 2025
The 35th JAG Entry Scheme is
going to start in October 2025. Under this scheme, unmarried male and female
law graduates will be able to submit applications for the posts of Short
Service Commission (SSC) officers in the JAG branch of the Indian Army. The
last date to apply is November 28, 2024 by 3 pm. Interested candidates can
submit their applications by the above deadline.
Vacancy Details
A total of 8 posts are available
for this recruitment. Out of these, 4 posts are for men and 4 for
women.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a minimum
of 55% aggregate marks in LLB degree (three years professional after graduation
or five years after 10+). Applicants must have appeared for CLAT PG Exam-2024.
Candidates must be eligible for registration as an advocate with the Bar
Council of India/State. The candidate should be from a college/university
recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Age Limit:
The age limit of the applicant
is 21 to 27 years (born not before 2 July 1998 and after 1 July 2004; both
dates inclusive) as on 01 July 2025.
56,100 will be given as
stipend, then the rank of lieutenant
On the basis of CLAT PG score,
eligible candidates for SSB will be selected in the second week of March. The
duration of training will be 49 weeks. During this time, candidates will be
given a stipend of Rs 56,100 per month. After training, rank candidates will be
