Indore to Host BRICS Entrepreneur Working Group Meeting
Ahead of the BRICS Agriculture Group meeting, Indore will host the BRICS Entrepreneur Working Group (EWG) meeting from May 19.
The two-day event will witness participation from nearly 50 representatives from the five BRICS member nations: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.
The primary focus of the meeting will be on youth development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology-driven opportunities.
The official inauguration of the meeting on May 20 will be conducted by Raksha Nikhil Khadse, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs will also participate in the event, which will be organized at Hotel Marriott, Indore.
Government departments and industrial units will showcase exhibitions during the program. A special dinner has also been planned for delegates from the five BRICS countries.
Representatives from BRICS nations will present their respective entrepreneurship ecosystems, innovation models, and youth entrepreneurship initiatives.
Panel discussions will focus on:
- Digital innovation and technology-based entrepreneurship
- Inclusive entrepreneurship
- Green entrepreneurship
- Climate-positive business models
A workshop on entrepreneurship capacity building and leadership development will also be conducted for delegates.
The visiting representatives will tour Crystal IT Park to learn about Madhya Pradesh’s growing IT and startup ecosystem.
They will also visit Cipla Limited in Pithampur to observe pharmaceutical manufacturing and advanced industrial processes.
The BRICS Agriculture Group meeting is scheduled to be held in Indore from June 9 to June 13.
