The application process for the country's biggest engineering
entrance exam JEE-Main is going on. As the last date is approaching, the number
of students is increasing. About 10 lakh students have applied so far. The last
date for application is 22 November. Many students were worried about the
errors in the application. In view of the problems of such students, the
National Testing Agency has issued a notification regarding the correction
window.
Allen's education expert Amit Ahuja said that on the demand of the students, NTA has given an opportunity to correct the errors in the JEE Main application. Students can correct the errors in the application between 26 and 27 November. The opportunity will be available till 11.50 pm on 27 November. Students will not be able to make corrections in mobile number, email ID, current and permanent address, emergency contact details and photograph. Apart from this, you can make changes in your name, father's name, mother's name, class 10th, 12th, PAN card details, examination city, medium of exam, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category, signature and subject of question paper. Opportunity to make corrections will be given only once, if the correction is made and frozen then corrections cannot be made again despite there being time.
Expert Amit Ahuja told that they will have to pay the fixed fee for this also. National Testing Agency has now clarified that changes in exam city can be made on the basis of your permanent or current address, but it will not be mandatory that the candidate gets the exam city requested by him.
