Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025 Commences from Delhi on June 30
The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025 is scheduled to begin from Delhi on June 30. This year, the journey has been facilitated by the joint efforts of the state government and the Ministry of External Affairs. The road connectivity up to Lipulekh Pass has significantly eased the pilgrimage process, eliminating the need for extensive trekking.
Previously, pilgrims had to undertake a 95 km trek with multiple halts to reach Lipulekh. However, with the new road infrastructure, travelers can now reach Lipulekh directly by vehicle, reducing the journey time and physical exertion. This development is expected to enhance the overall experience for devotees.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's initiatives have played a pivotal role in reviving the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which had been suspended since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A meeting held on April 21 in New Delhi, organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, discussed the operational aspects of the 2025 Yatra, marking a significant step towards its commencement.
