Kangana Ranaut Appointed Brand Ambassador for World Para Athletics Championship 2025

On June 18, actress and politician Kangana Ranaut was appointed as the brand ambassador of the upcoming World Para Athletics Championship, scheduled to be held in New Delhi in September–October 2025.

The 39-year-old star, known for her acclaimed performances in films like Fashion and Queen, currently serves as a Member of Parliament representing Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh.

In a press release issued by the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI), Kangana said, “India’s para-athletes are redefining what’s possible every day. I feel honored to support them and raise awareness about their incredible achievements. Para-sport is not just about competition—it’s about courage, and I am proud to stand behind our champion athletes.”

PCI President and BJP leader Devendra Jhajharia, who is also a two-time Paralympic gold medalist in javelin throw, said, “Kangana’s passion, influence, and commitment to Indian athletes make her an ideal ambassador for the 2025 World Para Athletics Championship in New Delhi.”
