• Prime Minister inaugurates major projects in Northeast: In Guwahati, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Kumar Bhaskar Verma Bridge over the Brahmaputra River and the first emergency landing facility on the National Highway in Dibrugarh. The 2.86 km long, 6-lane extradosed bridge connects Guwahati-North Guwahati and is the first of its kind in the Northeast.
• International Military Adventure Challenge Cup: For the first time, the Indian Army will host this event from February 18-23 at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. Participating teams include India, Bhutan, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Sri Lanka.
