Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor: Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor has assumed the position of Vice Chief of Air Staff. He was commissioned into the Indian Air Force's flying branch in December 1986. He has extensive experience in flying fighter and trainer aircraft. Prior to this, he served as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South Western Air Command.

Ministry of Defence Contracts: The Ministry of Defence has signed defence contracts worth ₹4,666 crore. These include the purchase of Close Quarter Battle Carbines for the Indian Army and heavyweight torpedoes for the Indian Navy's submarines.

Assam's Wage Commission: Assam has announced the formation of the 8th State Pay Commission. It becomes the first state in the country to do so. This decision was taken before the expiry of the 7th Pay Commission's term to expedite the wage revision process.

Broadband Users: According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the number of broadband users in India reached 100.37 crore in November 2025. For the first time, the number of broadband consumers has crossed the 1 billion mark. In 2015, the number was 13.15 crore.
