• Air Marshal Sanjeev Ghuratia has assumed charge as the Air Officer-in-Charge Maintenance at Air Force Headquarters. He has served for 37 years and has been honored with AVSM and VSM.
• The President of IndiaArun KumarAllahabad High Court. In the Kerala High Court, Justice Johnson John, Justice GU Girish, and Justice CN Pradeep have been appointed as permanent judges.
• The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a record prize money for the 2025 ICC Women’s World Cup. The winner will receive ₹39.55 crore, compared to ₹11.65 crore in 2022 — a 239% increase. The tournament will be held in India and Sri Lanka from 30th September.
• T.C.A. Kalyani has taken over as the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) of India from 1st September. She is a 1991 batch officer of ICAS and becomes the 29th CGA of the country.
• On the occasion of its 65th Foundation Day on 1st September, NCERT launched Bal Vatika TV Channel, DIKSHA 2.0, and PRASHAST 2.0 to promote inclusive digital education.
