Maa Vagdevi Maha Aarti Held at Bhojshala After 721 Years
Following the historic decision of the Madhya Pradesh High Court granting uninterrupted worship rights for 365 days, a grand Maha Aarti and special prayers dedicated to Maa Vagdevi were held on May 22 at Bhojshala in Dhar city.
The entire Dhar region witnessed a festive atmosphere. The city was beautifully decorated, and people invited one another to participate in the historic Maha Aarti ceremony.
Maha Aarti Conducted at 9 AM
According to the scheduled program, the Hindu side organized the Maha Aarti at Bhojshala at 9 AM. Later, at around 12 PM, a large number of devotees reached Bhojshala from Jyoti Mandir for दर्शन and worship.
Historic Occasion After 721 Years
After a long struggle spanning 721 years, this is considered the first occasion when the Bhojshala premises echoed with chants and praises of Maa Vagdevi on May 22.
Earlier, every Friday, the Muslim side was allowed to offer Namaz at the site. However, after the High Court’s ruling, a new chapter regarding worship at Bhojshala has begun.
Festive Atmosphere Across Dhar
The special prayers and Maha Aarti created excitement and emotional celebrations throughout Dhar city and nearby regions. Devotees described the event as a historic and spiritual moment.
