Madhya Pradesh Emerges as Leading State in Job Creation
According to the latest investment data released by Invest India, the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Government of India, Madhya Pradesh has secured the top position in the country in terms of job creation.
The report highlights that the state has outperformed major industrial states such as Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Maharashtra.
This achievement is attributed to the state's investor-friendly environment, rapidly developing infrastructure, and industry-supportive policies.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the year 2025 has been declared as the “Year of Employment and Industry,” giving a significant boost to industrial development.
The state government has actively attracted investments through global investor summits, roadshows, and direct engagement with industry leaders. Additionally, regional industry conferences have played a key role in promoting industrial activities across districts.
Focus on Employment Conversion
A major aspect of Madhya Pradesh’s strategy has been converting investments into real employment opportunities. Skill development programs in ITIs and polytechnic institutions have been aligned with industry requirements.
Initiatives such as campus placements, job fairs, and programs like “Yuva Sangam” have helped connect young individuals directly with employment opportunities.
