Mira Andreeva Becomes Youngest WTA Champion, Wins Dubai Tennis Championship


On February 24, 2025, 17-year-old Russian tennis player Mira Andreeva made history by winning the Dubai Tennis Championship trophy. Mira defeated Denmark's Clara Tauson 7-6, 6-1 in the women's singles final. At the age of 17 years and 299 days, Mira became the youngest player to win a WTA 1000 title.

Mira's Historic Win

After her victory, a thrilled Mira shared that she was excited to win her biggest career title. She started playing tennis at a young age with her older sister.
