Major programs include the Chief Minister Child Welfare Scheme (Uttar Pradesh), Parvarish Yojana (Bihar), and PM CARES for Children, which provide educational and health support to children up to 18 years of age.
Major Government Schemes and Assistance
- Chief Minister Child Welfare Scheme (UP): ₹4,000 per month for children orphaned due to COVID-19 or other reasons.
- PM CARES for Children: ₹4,000 per month for children under 18, along with education and healthcare benefits (Ayushman Bharat).
- Palnahar Yojana (Rajasthan): ₹1,500 per month for ages 0-6 and ₹2,500 per month for ages 6-18.
- Bihar Parvarish Yojana: ₹1,000 per month for orphaned or destitute children.
- Aftercare Scheme (Delhi): Assistance for education and self-reliance even after turning 18.
Eligibility and Required Documents
