Double Success: Indore Students Shine in CBSE and MP Board Results
In the MP Board Class 10 and 12 results this year, government schools have outperformed private schools. Government schools recorded 76.80% in Class 10 and 80.43% in Class 12 results.
Girls also performed better than boys. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated teachers and students for this achievement.
A significant shift was observed in this year’s results, where government schools surpassed private institutions, indicating visible improvement in the public education system.
Class 10 (High School) Results
Government schools achieved a pass percentage of 76.80%, while private schools recorded 68.64%, showing an 8% lead for government institutions.
A total of 897,061 students appeared for the exam. Among them, 73.42% regular and 26.38% private candidates passed.
Girls outperformed boys with 77.52% pass rate compared to 69.31% for boys.
Class 12 (Higher Secondary) Results
Government schools again led with 80.43% results, while private schools recorded 69.67%.
Out of 689,746 students, 76.01% regular students passed, marking the best result in the last 16 years.
Girls secured 79.41%, outperforming boys who scored 72.39%.
Toppers
In Class 12 Commerce stream, Khushi Rai from Government Subhash Excellence School, Bhopal, topped with 494 marks. Chandni Vishwakarma (private school) also secured the same marks and shared the top position.
In Class 10, Pratibha Singh Solanki secured the first position in the state with 499 out of 500 marks.
Girls dominated the merit lists. In Class 10, 235 out of 378 students were girls, while in Class 12, 158 out of 221 were girls.
New Reform Under NEP 2020
Under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, a new "Second Chance Exam" has been introduced instead of supplementary exams. Students who failed or want to improve their marks can appear in this exam.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav praised the results, stating that it reflects the hard work of teachers and improvements in the education system.
