Unified Exam for 1 Lakh Government Posts in MP – CM Mohan Yadav’s Major Announcement in Ujjain
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that a unified common exam will be conducted for the recruitment of 1 lakh government posts in Madhya Pradesh. This examination will be modeled on UPSC and will cover 4–5 categories of posts, streamlining the recruitment process while saving time and offering integrated opportunities for candidates.
Major Infrastructure Launches in Ujjain
The CM made this announcement during the inauguration of major development projects in his hometown, Ujjain, on July 11. These included:
- ‘Pratikalpa’ Commercial-cum-Residential Complex worth ₹68 crore
- ‘Shipra Vihar Commercial Complex’ worth ₹48 crore
These projects are expected to boost economic activity and create new opportunities in the city.
Development Worth ₹371 Crore Unveiled
CM Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation for urban development projects totaling ₹371 crore, outlining a roadmap for modern, inclusive, and citizen-focused urban growth across the state.
Temple Complex Expansion
He also announced expansion plans for the historic Harsiddhi Shaktipeeth and Bhukhi Mata temple premises, further enhancing spiritual tourism in the region.
Indore-Ujjain Metro Project
Highlighting progress in infrastructure, CM Yadav confirmed that the ₹850 crore Indore-Ujjain metro rail project will begin implementation soon. The project proposal has been sent to the central government for approval.
Industrial Investments from Abroad
The CM expressed confidence in attracting industrial investments from global markets like Dubai and Spain through strategic visits and collaborations.
Smart Road and Traffic Solution
The newly developed MR-11 Smart Road, constructed at a cost of ₹16 crore, will serve as an alternative corridor connecting Indore Road and Dewas Road. The 1.7 km road is 45 meters wide and features greenery, street lighting, and a central divider, aimed at reducing traffic congestion.
Massive Educational Infrastructure Investment
In a boost to education, CM Yadav laid the foundation for infrastructure worth ₹49.20 crore at Vikram University, including academic buildings, skill labs, hostels, and a computer center. Inaugurations were also held for new labs, classrooms, and hostels at Madhav Commerce College and Kalidas Girls’ College, greatly benefiting students, especially girls.
